Star Trek Bridge - U.S.S. Venturer (U.S.S. Voyager Prototype )

This is based on a design sketch created by the late, great Star Trek Production Designer Richard James. This is one of his early concept designs for the USS Voyager's bridge. I decided to make it the bridge for the USS Venturer, figuring that a Voyager prototype starship would go well with a Voyager prototype bridge. I can't believe that I was just putting the finishing touches to one of his wonderful concepts on the very day he died. I feel sad knowing that he'll never get to see it brought to life with his own eyes, but eternally grateful that he left a lifetime of wonderful artful artwork that we can all appreciate and be inspired by.
